The picture shows me knitting a scarf at age 4.  (Notice the Romper Room ring on my right hand!)  This scarf was used by myself and all three of my children and still exists!  I have always loved creating things by hand using fabric and thread.  I quilt, crochet, knit, cross-stitch, embroider, tat, and spin.  I am always creating something!  I strive to create quality items.  My hand pieced items are made using a backstitch for all seams.  This makes the seams much stronger than a normal one.  I also use the stab stitch method for quilting which ensures that each stitch penetrates through all the layers and can be seen evenly on both sides of the quilt.
